The Activity Guide is a practical guide for teachers that interlink the EIA classroom materials with the individual lessons of the English for Today textbook. There are 5 activity guides for the classes 1 to 5. The guides are grade specific and exclusive to the Primary Teaching and Learning Program.

The activity guides follow the English for Today lesson by lesson and provide specific activities that utilise the EIA methods and materials in covering the teaching points of that particular English for Today lesson. The activities support each other and prop up the English for Today Lesson as a communicative learning experience.

Each lesson in the activity guide is further broken into two days, over which, the teacher is supposed to cover the lesson.
