Secondary Teaching and Learning Materials

The EIA Secondary Teaching and Learning Programme (STLP) focuses on developing communicative language teaching practices among the English teachers of the secondary schools that follow the national curricula of Bangladesh. It also brings authentic English into the classroom and combined with the teaching practices imparted to the teachers, builds opportunities for the students to practice and develop English language skills. There are also specialized materials for the teachers’ own English language development.

The multimedia and print materials deliver learning content relevant to all four language skills and provide a learning experience quite unique for the average Bangladeshi classroom. The materials have an integrated approach and they provide opportunities for a vast range of learning activities.
